"A NEW DAY” – TV sitcom Created by MYKEL COLEMAN
Synopsis: Based on a young writer Private Sanders is discharged from U.S.
Army after serving in Iraq. He has goals and dreams to become a
successful writer. He discovers that being a writer isn’t as easy as he
hoped and freelance jobs aren’t what he expected. So; he decides to
relocate to the south to live with his uncle Clarence and two cousins in
Atlanta hoping this relocation will jump starting his writing career. Little,
does he know, Uncle Clarence has a motto while living under his roof. No
pay, no Stay and has a job waiting for Mykel's arrival at the local Art's Bar and
Grill. Reality start to set in when he's face with giving up on his dream and
getting a nine to five job to support his 5 year old daughter. This production
offers a lot of humor, reality, drama, and some real life decision making
challenges.
